Your Home. Your ‘Āina. Your Legacy.
E Kūkulu i ka Lāhui — Building a Thriving Lāhui
For Native Hawaiian families on the DHHL waitlist — the wait is over.
Laʻi ʻŌpua Village 4 Hema is a 125-home development on DHHL Trust Lands in North Kona, Hawaiʻi Island. Two homeownership programs. Four beautifully designed home models. Unobstructed ocean views. And a clear, guided path to getting your ʻohana home.
This is homeownership within reach — and it starts now.
The Vision
Honoring the Promise of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole
In 1921, Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole fought for and secured the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act — setting aside lands specifically for Native Hawaiian families to build, farm, and thrive on their ancestral ʻāina.
That promise was made over a century ago. For too long, it has been delayed.
Laʻi ʻŌpua Village 4 Hema is that promise fulfilled. One hundred and twenty-five homes on 99-year DHHL beneficiary leases, designed for how Hawaiian families actually live — and priced so that homeownership is within reach.
This is not just a housing development. This is a homecoming.
Village 4 Hema Leads the Way
Laʻi ʻŌpua Village 4 Hema is the first of three villages in the larger Laʻi ʻŌpua master plan — 525 homes across North Kona returning Native Hawaiian families to their land.
Village 4 Hema breaks ground first. Construction begins April 2027. Homes completed and ready for move-in by June 2027.
The path forward is clear. It begins here. It begins now.
